The time has come: The Scottish Rite Theatre officially opens to the public on Halloween weekend! We are beyond excited to welcome you inside these doors for our big opening weekend with a very special production of Sweeney Todd: The Bloody Barber Meets Ballet by Central Illinois Ballet (CIB).

Join us for two nights of performances - in costume if you'd like - and experience the newly renovated Scottish Rite Theatre October 29-30 for the first time since the completion of our months-long restoration of this beautiful space.

You are sure to be on the edge of your seat laughing at the quirky Tobias Ragg, moved by the plight of Johanna, and thoroughly spooked by Mrs. Lovett's questionable meat pies. Don't miss this premiere by CIB dancer and choreographer Jessie Williams in her very first full-length ballet with this company!

Feel free to join in the spirit by dressing in your favorite Halloween costume. Our beautiful new full-service bars will be open both pre-show and during intermission. We are so excited to finally welcome you inside these doors!
