COVID Policy
The Scottish Rite Theatre follows safety guidelines set by the CDC, State of Illinois and local health departments. Safety precautions are in place, including touchless hand washing stations, enhanced cleaning procedures, and hand sanitizer stations.
Ticket Policy
The Scottish Rite Theatre offers an incline lift and vertical lift to assist patrons. For ADA or assisted seating, please contact Box Office prior to purchasing tickets. Tickets are non-refundable. Questions or concerns should be directed to the Box Office. Group discounts apply to parties of 10 or more. The 32 Balcony, Ghost Light Balcony, and DeMolay Room are available for group sales / pre-show private parties.
Entry Policy
Patrons may be required to enter through a security and ID checkpoint. Please plan your arrival with time to pass through security and ID checkpoints. Doors generally open 1 to 1.5 hours prior to curtain time. Re-entry is not permitted. Patrons who exit the venue for any reason, including to smoke, will not be allowed to re-enter the venue.
Safety Policy
The following items are prohibited at the Scottish Rite Theatre: Illegal substances, weapons of any type, outside food or beverage, laser pointers/pens, video or audio recording devices, tripods, selfie sticks, professional cameras, fireworks, open flame, balloons, glitter, mace, flasks, pets/animals (excluding service animals), backpacks, duffel bags. Firearms, knives or weapons of any type are not permitted at the Scottish Rite Theatre.
House Rules
Late seating will be at the discretion of the Management/Ushers. No flash photography, no professional cameras, no tripods, no audio or video recording permitted during a performance, concert, or other event. Patrons are prohibited from entering the backstage area. Outside alcohol and/or food is not permitted under any circumstances.
Bag Policy
No bookbags, backpacks, or duffel bags.
